Monteray to Receive 135 Vans from Carillion Fleet Management

Monteray Ltd. is receiving 135 Peugeot vans from Carillion Fleet Management, the vans make up a portion of a 700 strong fleet and will be replacing vans currently in the fleet as the vehicles reach the end of their usefulness.

Monteray Ltd. is a national joint venture company that was established to supply facilities management to BT’s 8500 sites throughout the United Kingdom. The Monteray management contract includes overseeing security, office moves plus heating and maintenance agreements.
The 135 Peugeot vans include Peugeot’s Boxer, Partner, and Expert models, the vans will be used in diverse BT facilities across the nation.
Rob Gaskill, Monteray’s Fleet Manager commented that Monteray chose to use the Peugeot because Peugeot offered a very modern range of vehicles of all sizes, ranging from vans derived from cars to 3.5 tonne vehicles.
The 135 Peugeot vans will be under a four-year Carillion full maintenance contract hire plan that will cover servicing expenses and a yearly mileage that ranges 15 to 20,000 miles. Ever since their start-up. Carillion’s goal has been to provide efficiency in all aspects of fleet management for their clients. Carillion at the present time oversees a fleet that numbers over 5,700 cars and 6,000 commercial vehicles, which include LCV’s and HGV’s. Through the consolidation of resources and making the most of technology, Carillion has been able to continue providing valuable solutions at a low price to their customers.
